Senior Tax Accountant Sahmel & Associates, CPA Salary Range: $85,000- 110,000 Job Summary: Well-established and progressive CPA firm, located in Banker’s Hill is looking for an experienced tax preparer to meet the needs of our clients.This candidate must have 2+ years’ experience working with individual, corporation, and partnership income tax returns. We are looking for a candidate who is hungry to help the organization grow while able to handle more complex assignments. We have an in-person work environment to encourage communication between team members and facilitate advancement in tax knowledge and skills.This candidate must be extremely organized and able to communicate effectively with clients and staff members. Job Description: Preparation of individual/trust tax returns. Preparation of business tax returns including forms 1120, 1120-S and 1065 Assist tax manager as needed. Stay updated on changes in tax legislation that may impact clients or the organization. Requirements: Communicate with clients to gather information and complete tax returns 2 years plus of public accounting experience (small to medium size firms preferred) CPA or EA license preferred (Or pursuing encouraged) Demonstrable in-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations Proficient in QuickBooks Knowledge of Lacerte (a plus) Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Great customer service skills In person full-time Benefits: Competitive salary, Health Insurance Discretionary bonus 401K Plan Vacation, sick, and holiday pay #J-18808-Ljbffr
