Arkansas Talent Group is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in Little Rock to identify an experienced Senior Accountant for an interim assignment. This 23 month opportunity is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional with strong analytical skills and the ability to dive into critical financial processes during a busy season.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post journal entries as part of the month-end close process
- Review and audit internal documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and assist in variance analysis
- Generate and analyze inventory reports to ensure proper valuation and controls
- Support internal reporting and management requests with detailed Excel analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial integrity and reporting accuracy
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required)
- 39 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within manufacturing or related industries
- Strong knowledge of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables
- Experience with Workwise Accounting Software (or similar ERP systems) preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work independently
