Work Environment

This full-time position will primarily involve providing care in a home care setting, allowing you to work closely with patients in their own environments. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, offering a stable routine while ensuring you deliver the highest level of service. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand and meet the objectives and requirements of each patient.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, providing focused and effective care.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques aimed at enhancing mobility and functionality.
• Utilize cost-effective therapies that improve clients' range of motion while minimizing dependence on medications.
• Design individualized fitness and wellness programs tailored to each patient's unique needs and goals.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation journey to maximize their functional potential.
• Document and evaluate treatment outcomes, ensuring effective communication with all members of the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and improve patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with adults, including those with orthopedic concerns and chronic pain conditions. The home care model allows for personalized interactions, enabling you to build rapport and trust with your patients and to encourage their active participation in therapy. Your ability to foster a supportive environment will be crucial in facilitating progress and encouraging a healthy lifestyle focusing on strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Master's or Doctorate degree (MPT or DPT) is preferred.
• Must hold a current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• No record of board or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy and effective exercise program design.
• Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is a plus.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly valued.
• A history of successful patient outcomes and a commitment to professional development are beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits
