Step into a dynamic contract opportunity providing physical therapy support for K-12 students during the Extended School Year (ESY) session. This engaging position offers a focused, part-time schedule ideal for those seeking impactful work within a collaborative school environment.

Your workdays will begin June 25, with sessions running from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. The ESY operates June 29-July 1, July 6-9, July 13-16, and July 20-23 (Monday through Thursday), requiring your expertise during student attendance hours of 8:00 am to 12:16 pm. Final workdays on July 22-23 include additional time for student records completion and organizing the therapy room.

What we’re seeking:

• Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in Missouri
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting, preferred
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents
• Ability to adapt therapy activities for a diverse K-12 caseload
• Efficient documentation and time management skills
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, student-centered care

In this role, you will:

• Deliver direct physical therapy services to students in accordance with their IEP goals
• Complete required documentation and progress monitoring
• Participate in team meetings, sharing insights on student development
• Offer support to optimize the learning environment for students with varying physical needs
• Coordinate with faculty to integrate therapy plans within classroom activities
• Assist in record-keeping and end-of-session organizational tasks
