Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity delivering impactful physical therapy services within school settings near Naperville, IL. This in-person position is ideal for a dedicated PT passionate about supporting students’ physical independence across multiple schools, ranging from elementary through transition programs. A full-time schedule is preferred, though qualified part-time applicants will also be considered. The assignment runs from August 24, 2026, through June 7, 2027, with billable hours totaling 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday, with varying hours based on each school’s starting time.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (MPT/DPT)
• Valid Illinois Physical Therapy license
• Experience or strong interest in school-based or pediatric physical therapy settings
• Ability to travel between multiple school locations throughout the week
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Complete student evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver direct and consultative PT services for a caseload of 35-45 students in diverse educational programs
• Train staff in use of positioning and mobility equipment
• Foster collaborative relationships with educators, paraprofessionals, therapists, and nurses to maximize student outcomes
• Maintain detailed daily therapy notes, progress reports, goal documentation, and updates
• Ensure all services adhere to ethical, state, and district-specific guidelines
