Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Physical Therapist working in a dynamic school-based setting serving students from elementary through transition programs. This in-person only role is ideal for professionals who find fulfillment in helping students achieve greater physical independence and participation in their educational environments. Full-time availability is preferred (37.5 billable hours per week), but part-time schedules may be considered for the right candidate. Enjoy a varied Monday–Friday routine (start times between 7:30 and 8:30am) with travel between several schools in the Romeoville and Bolingbrook area.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (MPT/DPT)
• Active Illinois Physical Therapy License
• Experience in school-based PT settings is highly desired
• Confidence traveling between multiple school sites
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to support students in both self-contained and general education programs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative PT services to a caseload of 35–45 students, adapting interventions for various program needs
• Conduct evaluations, develop and implement individual treatment plans
• Train staff and students in the use of mobility and positioning equipment
• Keep thorough daily documentation, progress reports, and goal updates
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, paraprofessionals, therapists, nurses, and other educational team members
