Service Advisor With Dealership Experience

We are looking for an experienced Service Advisor to join our fast-paced environment at Johnson RV. It's more than a Service Advisor, we need an outstanding communicator with a natural positive attitude. A person that has a strong work ethic and values taking ownership of the customer experience. The successful candidate will feel comfortable and confident in greeting customers as they are scheduling appointments and acting as a liaison between customers and service technicians. Must be sales-minded, as it is part of the role. This position will handle a volume of work flow and must be good at multitasking and shifting priorities as business needs dictate.

Responsibilities

Attitude is everything greet service department customers promptly and courteously Listen to each customer and clearly articulate needs to technician Provide accurate estimates of repairs / maintenance costs Follow up on repair status to efficiently inform customers Work with manufacturer and file claims in timely manner Notify customers when RV / trailer is ready for pick up Review and explain repairs and associated costs with customers Handle minor customer concerns and complaints Keep Service Manager informed of all problems or potential problems Maintain Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores in accordance with dealership standards

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required

• Prior service advisor experience is a plus
• Prior warranty claims submission is a plus
• Dispatching, customer service experience a plus
• Proven ability to achieve profitability and growth
• Ability to set and meet goals
• Meticulous attention to detail
• High degree of problem-solving skill
• Thrives in a team environment
• Well-developed interpersonal skills. Ability to get along with diverse personalities. Tactful, mature.
