Finance Manager Compensation $180,000 to $200,000 USD base plus up to 20% bonus and 3.5% 401k contribution Location: Midtown, 2 days on-site Benefits & Growth Robust health, dental, vision, and wellness benefits (including subsidized gym membership and Bright Horizons backup care) Hybrid schedule: on-site Tuesdays and Wednesdays, remote other days Clear path to director and potential CFO opportunities as the firm expands Why This Opportunity Stands Out Executive committee and founding partner visibility on high-profile legal matters Full ownership of finance, influencing both strategic decision-making and operational process improvement Agile, top-10 national boutique law firm with AI-forward, technology-enabled approach Opportunity to shape the function in a high-performing, low-bureaucracy environment Key Responsibilities of the Finance Manager Lead the finance department, supervise billing, and drive reporting, trust accounting, and process improvement initiatives Serve as primary finance contact for executive committee, founders, and partners; deliver timely analysis and reporting Maintain and streamline systems (Aderant/Elite) to support firm growth and regulatory compliance Own finance operations hands-on: budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, trust accounting, and compliance Mentor, develop, and support a lean transactional accounting team Must-Have Skills/Experience (Required) of Finance Manager Recent finance leadership experience in a law firm (boutique/mid-size preferred) Hands-on expertise with law firm financial operations, including trust accounting and billing systems (Aderant or Elite) Proven track record of individual contribution in addition to team management #J-18808-Ljbffr
