Talent Acquisition Specialist
Location: North Houston, TX
Pay: $36.00 - $43.00 / Per Hour
Benefits: This position is eligible for dental, vision, medical, 401 (k)
About the Role
Are you passionate about recruiting top talent and making an impact? Our client is seeking a Recruiter with strong full-cycle recruiting experience to join our fast-paced HR team. You'll play a key role in attracting, hiring, and onboarding the best field and corporate talent to support our company's long-term goals.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruiting: job postings, sourcing, screening, interviews, offers & onboarding.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job needs and deliver top candidates.
- Manage requisitions and ensure compliance with all hiring processes.
- Conduct background checks, drug screens, and onboarding documentation (I-9, E-Verify, etc.).
- Represent the company at job fairs, sourcing events, and school outreach programs.
- Maintain accurate candidate data in our ATS (Paycom experience a plus).
Requirements
- 4-5 years of experience in oil & gas.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Paycom experience preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates encouraged to apply.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Daily in-office attendance required.
