Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night/Evening Shifts | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 15:00–03:30 and 19:00–07:30 | Includes Weekends and Holidays | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to both adult and pediatric patient populations in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
• Assess, monitor, and manage patients presenting with acute and critical conditions, including telemetry monitoring
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver timely and effective treatment plans
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing and patient care demands
• Pass a required Telemetry exam (adult and pediatric) prior to start, with a minimum score of 80% and 100% identification of lethal rhythms

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN license or valid Compact RN license
• Minimum two (2) years of Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last three (3) years
• BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications – American Heart Association (AHA) only – required
• TNCC certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with telemetry interpretation, including identification of lethal rhythms and heart block patterns
• Prior travel nursing experience in an Emergency Department setting
• Familiarity with high-acuity, high-volume emergency care environments
