Summary Bends stainless metal tubing, according to specifications, for use in compressor packages by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Plans tubing job by laying out stainless metal tubing to fit connections on a compressor package. Cuts tubing to required length using a hand tool. Beads, burrs, and flares tubing. De-burrs inside diameter after cutting. Bends tubing by hand using bending tools to conform to required routing on compressor package. Connects tubing to compressor packages using appropriate fittings, and secures tubing, as required. Checks tubing connections. Air tests all tubing runs.
