Our organization is a physician-led, accountable multispecialty group with over 650 providers, currently in search of an Internal Medicine physician. We invite you to become part of our dedicated primary care team at our Baker City clinic. Ideal candidates should have a strong passion for adult health issues, a solid foundation in general internal medicine, and a desire to cultivate outpatient practices that support our expanding multispecialty medical group within a regionally integrated healthcare framework.

Practice Overview

• Location: Baker City clinic
• Status: Full-Time or Part-Time
• Schedule: For full-time positions, 34 patient contact hours, with the option of a 4 or 5-day work week.
• Call: Shared practice call with other qualified providers (approximately 1:30).

The Baker City Medical Center serves as a critical access hospital located in eastern Oregon, featuring a Level IV Emergency Department that handles around 7,500 visits annually. The facility includes 2 monitored critical care beds and a 19-bed medical-surgical inpatient nursing unit, along with a step-down unit. Additionally, there are two spacious operating rooms with 24/7 CRNA coverage. On-site ancillary services encompass lab work, radiology (80-slice CT), ultrasound, respiratory therapy, IV infusion (including chemotherapy), and more. Mobile MRI services are also available weekly.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree;
• Completion of an accredited internal medicine residency program;
• Eligibility to obtain an Idaho medical license, registration with the Idaho Board of Pharmacy and DEA (for controlled substances), and privileges at the regional medical center;
• Board certification, or the ability to achieve such certification within three years of employment;
