Urgent Care Operations Clinic Manager

Urgent Care Clinic Operations Practice Manager (CMA Experience Preferred) (Clinton, Fort Washington Clinic Locations) This position reports to the Senior Regional Operations Director and is responsible for daily operations, enforcement of policies and procedures, and management of multiple urgent care centers. The role coordinates and supervises administrative and clerical staff to ensure an outstanding patient experience. Select, train, supervise, and monitor quality and production levels of site staff. Develop monthly staff schedules, review attendance reports, and provide input for payroll calculations. Verify that the cash drawer is balanced by front desk staff and prepare daily bank deposits. Provide training and equipment for staff to perform their duties. Communicate and enforce company policies and procedures, addressing performance and disciplinary issues. Resolve billing holds, financial refunds, and accounting corrections originating at the site. Monitor supply inventories and coordinate ordering of supplies. Engage with patients, review feedback, and address patient service issues. Identify community marketing opportunities and engage staff in grassroots marketing. Inspect and maintain records on facilities and equipment. Coordinate facility and equipment maintenance and other vendor services. Perform front-end registration and/or clinical tasks as a backup during absences or high demand. Key Requirements College degree or equivalent. At least 7 years of healthcare experience and at least 5 years of management experience, including multi–clinic experience with 25+ staff. Hands‑on clinical experience as an MA, LPN, etc. is a plus. Familiarity with medical billing systems and basic medical terminology. Competent in front desk registration and medical assistant responsibilities. Completed training in HIPAA, basic medical coding, bloodborne pathogens, and other clinical/administrative issues. Proficient in PC applications including Internet Explorer and Microsoft Office. Superior patient service skills for handling escalated issues. Ability to supervise, train, and evaluate new and current staff. Compensation Hourly rate or salary range: Starting at $55,000.00+.
