- # Part time Advanced Chemistry Lab TechnicianApplylocations: Ybor City Campustime type: Part timeposted on: Posted 2 Days Agojob requisition id: JR26-339**Compensation Range:**$14.00 - $14.92**Position Summary:****Hiring Salary:** $14.00This position monitors and coordinates the activities of and provides support and assistance to assigned laboratories to enable effective and safe lab operations.**Job Duties*** Assists lab assistants and supports faculty and students regarding appropriate use of equipment and lab procedures mixing chemicals; troubleshoots problems.* If appropriate, set up and take down labs for class. Cleans and stocks materials.* Provides necessary materials and equipment required for effective laboratory instruction and experiments.* Assists faculty with the preparation of lab materials (mixing chemicals) and lab tests* Monitors and coordinates lab activities; trains and/or provides guidance to part-time lab technicians and student assistants.* Maintains safe and clean working conditions in the lab.* Maintains inventory of supplies and equipment.* Prepare specimens for laboratory use. Maintain lab equipment as needed; maintenance and keep supplies stocked as needed.* Performs similar and related duties as assigned.**Minimum Qualifications**Associates degree and two years of experience working in a science, chemistry or medical laboratory.
