Employment Litigation Associate

Position Summary Our Charlotte, NC office has an opportunity for an Employment Litigation Associate to join a dynamic and long-established practice representing premier local and national employers. This is an excellent opportunity for associates to provide legal service within a sophisticated practice and assume a significant role in all aspects of labor and employment law. The role requires extensive contact with clients, governmental agencies and opposing counsel. Responsibilities Perform legal research, drafting of legal memoranda, motions and pleadings. Attend court conferences and handle discovery-related activities and investigations. Draft position statements and dispositive motions, and counsel clients on employment‑law‑related matters. Provide legal service within a sophisticated, team‑oriented environment. Requirements Juris Doctor. Qualified candidates must be and remain licensed to practice law and in good standing in North Carolina. Candidates must possess 2+ years of employment litigation experience. Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills.
