Express Lane Service Technician

Automotive Express Service TechnicianTechnician will cater to the specific needs of each repair order efficiently and accurately. This must be done within both dealership and factory requirements.The ideal technician candidate must be able to diagnose malfunctions, as well as perform the necessary repairs (Technician will perform vehicle repairs within their current capability/skill level).Perform an in-depth examination of each vehicle under their supervisionClearly document and record work that is performed on the repair orderAbility to spot and recommend additional repairs for vehicle safety and dependabilityEffectively communicate with the designated advisor or service managerRoad test vehicles when required or refer to service manager.Ability to perform any additional related duties as required and assigned by service manager.Perform proper tool and equipment usage and maintenanceAutomotive Technician Qualifications or RequirementsMinimum of 2 years of experience as an Automotive Technician / MechanicPrior Express Service experience preferredMust be at least 18 years of age or olderLegally eligible to work in the United StatesValid driver's licenseSuccessfully pass drug screen, background and motor vehicle records checkAndy Shaw Ford offers an extensive benefits package, including but not limited to, medical insurance, dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability, matching 401k retirement plan, vacation, and holidays.
