Position Summary TheSenior Accountant, Operationsis responsible for maintaining the general ledgerand ensuring the accuracy ofinventoryreportingandotherfinancial reporting activitiesacross multiple locations. This role plays a key part in the month-end close processand addresses tight deadlines,while supporting the organization's overall financial integrity and reporting requirements.This individual will be a strategic thinker with a proven ability to get into the details and see tasks to completion. Key Responsibilities Prepare journal entries and manage month-end close activities foroperationalaccounting functions. Prepare and maintain account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records. Perform income statement flux analyses by comparing actual results against budget and prior year to identify trends and ensure proper classification and coding in accordance with U.S. GAAP Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting for executive leadership Review and reconcileRaw, Work in Process, and Finished Goods Inventoryformultiplelocations across the company CalculationofSlow Movingand ObsoleteInventoryReserves Review and reconcileOpenReceivers(Goods Received Not Invoiced) Analyze Material MarginVariances at a local levelfor discrepanciesand abnormalities Compliance & Controls Support and maintain SOX compliance through the execution of required reviews and internal control procedures. Assist with audits and provide requested documentation as needed.
