Commercial HVAC Technician

Job Description Commercial Field Specialist – San Antonio, TX. As a local on‑site program and company representative to commercial customers, you will conduct energy efficiency HVAC maintenance tune‑ups, pre‑ and post‑installation verifications, and other technical data gathering activities throughout a defined territory. Responsibilities Travel throughout a defined territory performing A/C tune‑ups. Conduct energy efficiency HVAC maintenance tune‑ups, pre‑ and post‑installation verifications, and other technical data gathering activities. Train field staff and develop training materials and guidelines on installation, adaptation, configuration, or enhancement in accordance with client specifications. Perform quality assurance reviews and audits of commercial energy efficiency upgrades that involve further complexity and analysis. Provide input and status updates to program staff regarding project scope, planning, and effectiveness of products. Provide technical expertise to identify, analyze, and resolve issues. Qualifications High school diploma or GED; Industry TDLR Certification preferred. EPA Type Universal certification required. Physical ability to work in all climates and in commercial environments with HVAC equipment. Ability to work in‑person in commercial environments in the San Antonio area. Follow DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations. Compensation and Benefits Target compensation: $60,000 per year.
