Aircraft Composite Mechanic/ Aerospace Composite Technician

Job Description

Job Summary:
Responsible for fabricating, repairing, reworking, and curing aerospace composite materials and assemblies using established processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform composite repairs including scarfing, sanding, ply repair, overlays, precured patches, secondary bonding, and edge trimming.
Perform moisture removal, double-vacuum debulk, thermal curing, and heat blanket applications.
Load, unload, and operate ovens and autoclaves for curing composite parts and assemblies.
Disassemble and prepare assemblies for rework, repair, and modifications.
Operate composite fabrication, bonding, and repair equipment.
Follow engineering drawings, work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards.

Requirements:

Aerospace composite experience required.
Hands-on experience with composite repair, layup, bonding, scarfing, and curing.
Basic computer skills.
Must be available for 1st or 2nd shift, overtime, and weekends as needed.
Must be able to stand and work for the duration of the shift.
