Accounting clerk

We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support our day-to-day property accounting operations. Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, you will play an integral role in transaction processing, tenant billing, cash management, and monthly financial closes. Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable & Payments: Review, code, and route vendor invoices; gather required backup documentation; and assist with check runs and ACH payment processing.
• Accounts Receivable & Cash Management: Post incoming receivables, track daily cash activity, update internal cash schedules, and maintain lease/delinquency tracking for month-end reconciliation.
• Property Reporting: Maintain accurate property-level documentation, including tenant rent rolls and operational schedules used across accounting and asset management teams.
• Month-End Close Support: Complete assigned financial close tasks accurately and on schedule to ensure seamless monthly reporting.
• Vendor & Team Coordination: Serve as a primary point of contact for property managers, vendors, and internal colleagues to resolve billing, lease, and payment inquiries.
• Process Oversight: Proactively investigate financial discrepancies, spot exceptions, and escalate complex issues to senior accounting leadership.
