An established firm based in Los Angeles, CA with over 20 years in practice is seeking an Associate Attorney with 1+ years of experience to join their team. This Associate Attorney will have experience with general liability and civil litigation , ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations while representing clients in litigation and advisory matters. Qualifications :
JD from an accredited law school
Licensed and in good standing with the California Bar
1-10 years of civil litigation experience with exposure to general liability matters
Strong understanding of state and federal laws related to automotive liability
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal practice management tools
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Collaborative mindset with strong work ethic and commitment to team success

 

Responsibilities :
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings motions and other case-related documents
Assist with case preparation for hearings trials mediations and depositions
Maintain consistent communication with clients to provide updates and gather information
Manage discovery including document review interrogatories and deposition preparation
Appear in court for routine hearings motions and related proceedings
Advise clients on legal rights risks and compliance considerations
Collaborate with attorneys paralegals and legal staff to execute case strategy
Manage caseload efficiently to meet productivity and billable expectations
Participate in continuing legal education and remain current on legal developments
Contribute to firm initiatives and uphold organizational values and goals
