If you are passionate about healthcare and eager to contribute to patient well-being, this role is an excellent fit for your skills and career growth.– Collect patient vitals and obtain healthcare information – Room and prepare patients for examinations – Support healthcare providers during patient visits – Assist with setting up examination rooms and patient support – Support front office duties as needed – Float within scope to meet facility needs and ensure smooth clinic operations – Maintain accurate documentation and charting in electronic medical records (EPIC) – Work scheduled day shifts, typically from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM – Be available to work during designated holidays and fulfill scheduling requirements– Knowledge of healthcare terminology and clinical procedures – Ability to collect vital signs and support providers effectively – Strong communication and patient service skills – Flexibility to float within scope to meet operational needs – Basic proficiency in typing and electronic chartingValid Medical Assistant certification and current BLS certification required – Minimum of 1 year of healthcare experience preferred – Valid state license (Compact license accepted) – Must be able to work scheduled day shifts (5×8 hours) and commit to holiday coverage – Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility preferred – Ability to work in an outpatient cancer treatment center environment – Must include responses regarding previous experience at a Providence facility if applicable – Two references covering the past 6-12 months are required – Candidates should be prepared to support or accept floating within a network of nearby facilities – Maintain compliance with background and health policies prior to startElevate your healthcare career by providing compassionate patient care in a supportive clinical environment.
