Recycling Presorters
Conover, NC 28613 Monday - Friday
7:00am to 3:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Sort and separate recyclable materials by type, color, and grade.
- Remove non-recyclable items and contaminants from the recycling stream.
- Maintain cleanliness of sorting lines, work areas, and facility floors.
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety concerns to supervisors.
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements.
Qualifications:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to quickly identify different recyclable materials.
- Comfortable working in industrial environments with noise, dust, varying temperatures, and outdoor exposure.
- No prior experience required; training provided. Ideal candidates are reliable, safety-conscious, and able to follow instructions.
Schedule: Full-time opportunities Available.
Experience Level: Entry-level; no previous experience necessary.
