Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

As a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll play a pivotal role in helping children achieve communication milestones and reach their fullest potential. This role offers between 30-37 hours per week and involves serving a caseload of approximately 80 students, with the flexibility to adapt as needs shift throughout the year.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Eligible for, or current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY)
• Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP (or in process)
• Experience in school settings is highly valued, but strong new graduates are also encouraged to apply
• Understanding of individualized education program (IEP) processes and familiarity with special education services

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative speech and language services to a diverse caseload of students
• Develop, implement, and update IEP goals focused on communication and language development
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation using specialized logging software (Log Wizard)
• Accurately complete Virginia Medicaid logs for billing purposes (comprehensive training will be provided)
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings, assessments, and parent communications as needed
