Job Description As a Security Officer Outdoor Space in New York, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule DayTime Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location. Respond to incidents, property concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting information through proper channels. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and support tenant, visitor, and contractor interactions by verifying entry requirements, providing directions, and reporting security‑related concerns. Assist with routine inspections of doors, gates, lighting, and other property features, and communicate maintenance or life emergency issues to site contacts as needed. Minimum Requirements Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
