Accounting & Collections Assistant

Job Description
This position is responsible for financial tasks including but not limited to:
- Time and billing reconciliations, verification of employee time for payroll
- Accounts Payable including W9 maintenance for 1099s
- Accounts Receivable including collections on past due accounts
- ACH scheduling and posting collected funds
- Reconciliations between multiple software systems
- Maintaining accurate cash flow and cash balances
- Posting transactions to general ledger
- Phone back up and client communications
- Filing and other general tasks as needed
- Full time, Monday - Friday 9:00am to 6:00pm
Must be proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office systems. Experience with QuickBooks and PracticeCS are a plus! Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred, other degrees and candidates with relevant work experience welcome to apply. We are looking for a multi-tasker, someone that takes pride in accuracy and can maintain confidentiality. Salary will depend on experience.
