Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Schedule: Weekend requirement: 3 out of 6 shifts

Requirements:

• Valid RN license required
• 3 years of RN experience
• Patient ratio experience: 4:1 (days/nights/weekends)
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS (TNCC preferred, may be allowed to obtain prior to start)
• Charting experience required: Epic
• Preferred experience in community hospital and Emergency Department

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across the lifespan, including neonates through geriatrics, in the emergency department.
• Perform triage and manage patient care needs in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, recognizing changes and intervening as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Participate in emergency response protocols, including trauma care and critical interventions.

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation: 40 hours required
• Pre-approved time off: 2 days available
• Floating may occur within hospital or to affiliate facilities
• Must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
