Forest City Personal Care Home is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aides (PCA) to join our team. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about providing quality care and making a difference in the lives of our residents.

The facility is willing to train the right candidates , including training opportunities to become Medication Technicians (Med Techs) .

Shift Available

• Part-Time
• Any shift where needed
• Weekend availability required

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Assist with nail care and other routine personal care tasks.
• Administer medications to residents who are not self-administering, following required training and facility procedures.
• Assist residents during mealtimes and help ensure nutritional needs are met.
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and encouragement to residents.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to appropriate staff.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Work collaboratively with nursing staff and caregivers to provide quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older .
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous caregiving experience preferred, but not required .
• Facility is willing to train the right candidates.
• Willingness to train as a Medication Technician (Med Tech) .
• Compassionate and resident-centered approach to care.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Willingness to work any shift where needed .
