We help employers develop proactive strategies, strong policies and business-oriented solutions to cultivate high-functioning workforces that are engaged and stable, and share our clients’ goals to emphasize belonging and respect for the contributions of every employee.The Firm is ranked in the First Tier nationally in the category of Labor and Employment Litigation, as well as in both Employment Law and Labor Law on behalf of Management, in the U.S. News - Best Lawyers “Best Law Firms”.This position may be located at any of our Jackson Lewis office locations.You will support, collaborate and guide our clients on workplace safety and health compliance requirements for OSHA (federal and state) regulations and will manage support on other L&E matters as needed.ResponsibilitiesSupport, collaborate and guide business partners on environmental and workplace safety and health compliance requirementsManage outside counsel and vendors on global EH&S issues and create programmatic opportunities to address risk, including training, policies and processesDevelop relationships with regulatory agencies, defend our practices within appropriate boundaries, and work to influence policy developmentHandle all aspects of litigation relating to matters regarding workplace safety and discrimination matters per OSHA regulationsRepresent clients in negotiations and mediations.Provide crisis management to clients dealing with workplace safety and health mattersSkills and Educational Requirements:J.D. from an ABA accredited law school, with exceptional academic credentials3+ years of employment litigation experience preferred; OSHA experience required.
