Job Description
Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts (Day/Night), with a minimum of every other weekend required.

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 16 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:
- AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required.
- TNCC must be provided prior to start, NIHSS required prior to start.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Large, teaching facility experience required.
- EPIC experience from within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable.
- Prior travel experience preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans.

Compliance / Notes:
- Must have reliable transportation, as public transportation is not accessible in the area.
- No block schedules for any reason.
- Bi-weekly orientations on Monday.
- Employment gaps over 90 days must be explained.
