As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you'll support daily accounting operations by processing vendor invoices, reviewing expense reports, reconciling statements, and ensuring payments are accurate and timely.As a second-generation, family-owned enterprise, RK brings together seven specialized lines of business across construction, manufacturing, advanced fabrication, and building services. Our integrated approach creates opportunities to collaborate, learn, and contribute to a growing organization.What You'll DoEnter and post vendor invoices, prepare checks, and review unapproved invoices daily to support timely processing and paymentMatch invoices to purchase orders, verify coding and approvals, and partner with Purchasing and Project Managers to resolve discrepanciesProcess employee expense claims using third-party expense management software and reconcile vendor statementsCalculate applicable Colorado sales and use taxes on supplier and vendor invoices while developing knowledge of construction-related tax requirementsMonitor the Accounts Payable inbox, route invoices for processing, and respond promptly and professionally to vendor and employee inquiriesMaintain positive relationships with vendor and supplier accounting teams while ensuring accurate records and protecting confidential informationSupport the full Accounts Payable cycle and assist with additional accounting duties as neededWhat You Bring2–5 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable and subcontract entryPreferred experience in multiple ERPs such as Visa, IFS and Great PlainsStrong attention to detail with the ability to review invoice coding, approvals, purchase orders, and expense documentation for accuracyWhy Build Your Career at RKBuild bigger.
