Estimator

We are seeking an  Estimator to join the team in the greater Canton, Ohio area. This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with company leadership in a high-impact role that combines estimating, project planning, and business development while offering significant long-term growth potential.

What You'll Do as the Estimator:

• Prepare accurate and competitive project estimates by reviewing plans, specifications, and bid documents
• Perform quantity takeoffs and analyze labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, production, and leadership teams to develop winning proposals
• Identify value-engineering opportunities and creative solutions that improve project outcomes
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, contractors, and customers
• Support contract reviews, project planning, and resource forecasting efforts
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and assist with project coordination activities
• Negotiate pricing and procurement opportunities with suppliers and subcontractors
• Assist with business development initiatives and customer relationship management
• Help drive process improvements as the organization continues its rapid growth

Must-Haves as the Estimator:

• Experience in construction estimating, manufacturing estimating, or a related technical estimating environment
• Experience in concrete and underground electrical infrastructure manufacturing
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar drafting/modeling software
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, technical plans, and specifications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Self-motivated, ambitious, and eager to contribute in a fast-paced environment

Nice-to-Haves as the Estimator:

• Experience with utility infrastructure, civil construction, concrete products, manufacturing, or related industries
• Knowledge of procurement, vendor management, and cost analysis
• Customer-facing or business development experience
• Project management exposure
• Experience with 3D modeling software
