Salary: $24-$25/hr.Immediate Hire Company in Matteson, IL looking for a Bilingual Spanish Line Coordinator Role temp to hire $24 an hour based upon shift. For more information visit IMMEDIATE HIRE Line Coordinator (Temp to Hire)1. Position Overview The Bilingual Spanish Line Coordinator IL (Matteson) is a critical leadership role responsible for maximizing the operational efficiency of automated production lines. This position serves as the 'on-site conductor,' overseeing frontline operators, preventing bottlenecks through proactive communication with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that production targets are met within a safe and disciplined environment. 2. Working Conditions & Compensation This position operates on a 4-on, 4-off rotation schedule with 12-hour shifts to ensure continuous 24/7 operations. Shift Type Working Hours Hourly Rate Schedule Day Shift 08:00 AM - 08:00 PM $24.004 Days On / 4 Days Off 3. Key Responsibilities Personnel Management & Operations- Attendance & Manpower Allocation: Monitor operator attendance and strategically assign tasks based on skill levels to optimize line flow.
- Performance Monitoring: Supervise operator work attitudes and real-time performance; provide immediate on-site coaching and feedback to maintain high productivity.
- Break Time Management: Ensure operators strictly adhere to designated break schedules to minimize line downtime and maintain operational consistency.
- PPE Compliance: Strictly enforce safety protocols by verifying that all personnel wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including Safety Vests and Steel Toe Shoes .
- SOP Adherence: Monitor and guide operators to ensure all tasks are performed according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and safety guidelines.
- Technical & Material Troubleshooting: Act as the primary point of contact when issues arise (e.g., material shortages, equipment malfunctions, or manpower deficits). Coordinate immediately with the Warehouse, Maintenance teams, or external vendors to resolve bottlenecks.
- Incident Reporting: Immediately escalate significant line issues or safety incidents to upper management according to the established reporting hierarchy.
- Experience: Previous experience in team leading, line coordination, or supervisory roles within a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of automated production lines and industrial safety standards.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with various departments and vendors.
- Flexibility: Ability to work 12-hour shifts and commit to a 4-day rotation schedule (including nights and weekends).
- Leadership: Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse workforce with a firm yet professional approach.
