This hospital, located in Northern Michigan, maintains established clinical protocols and the resources necessary to support inpatient critical care services. The facility is structured to accommodate locum tenens clinician coverage on a day shift basis, with appropriate staffing in place to ensure continuity of patient care. Locum tenens coverage is sought for designated shifts beginning 8/31/2026.

This APP hospitalist opportunity is seeking one locum provider for a 7-on/7-off day shift schedule beginning August 31, 2026, with coverage needed during the following weeks: 8/31-9/6, 9/14-9/20, 9/28-10/4, 10/12-10/18, 10/26-11/1, 11/9-11/15, 11/23-11/29, 12/7-12/13, and 12/21-12/27. The provider will care for an adult patient population with an average inpatient census of 22 and approximately 2-4 admissions per day. Candidates must be comfortable managing ICU patients and performing a wide range of procedures, including intubation and extubation, ventilator management, central and arterial line placement, chest tube insertion, lumbar punctures, moderate sedation, paracentesis, tracheostomy care, and external pacing. Experience handling critically ill patients and independently managing complex inpatient procedures is required.
