This hospital, located in Northern Michigan, maintains established clinical protocols and the resources necessary to support inpatient critical care services. The facility is structured to accommodate locum tenens clinician coverage on a day shift basis, with appropriate staffing in place to ensure continuity of patient care. Locum tenens coverage is sought for designated shifts beginning in August 2026.

Northern Michigan offers a range of outdoor and indoor activities suited to varied interests, including hiking, biking, birding, rock climbing, paddling, horseback riding, geocaching, stargazing, and wildlife watching across state parks with diverse terrain. Families and individuals may access museums, trampoline parks, bowling, arts and crafts studios, escape rooms, ropes courses, and educational programs through local recreation centers. Nature-based activities such as scavenger hunts, bird-watching walks, and swimming are also available to accommodate different age groups and interests.

The clinician will provide critical care coverage during day shifts on a 7 on 7 off schedule beginning 8/31/2026, delivering intensive monitoring and management of critically ill adult patients in an inpatient setting. Coverage dates include 8/31 - 9/6 and 9/14 - 9/20.
