Project Assistant

We are working with a commercial general contractor specializing in interior build-outs throughout South Florida. We are looking for a motivated and organized Project Assistant to support our estimating team and assist with the preparation of bids and project documentation. Skills Desired City : Miami State : FL Job Description Responsibilities Assist the estimating team with preparing bid packages. Download, organize, and distribute construction plans and specifications. Perform quantity takeoffs Contact subcontractors and suppliers to request pricing and follow up on outstanding quotes. Build and maintain subcontractor and vendor databases. Track bid deadlines and ensure proposals are submitted on time. Organize project files and maintain estimating records. Assist with general administrative tasks for the estimating department. Support project managers and office staff as needed. Qualifications Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable making phone calls and following up with subcontractors. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
