Drain Service Technician

The Residential Drain Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing clearing and maintaining drains and plumbing lines in homes. This role ensures that residential plumbing systems operate efficiently, safely, and without blockages, while delivering professional service to homeowners. Technicians respond to service calls for clogged sinks, toilets, showers, and main sewer lines. They use tools such as snakes, augers, hydro-jetting equipment, and camera inspection systems to identify and clear blockages. Duties include cleaning drains, replacing damaged pipes, preventing backups, and educating homeowners on proper drain maintenance to avoid future issues. Candidates must have strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of residential plumbing systems.
