Billing SpecialistThe Billing Specialist will support the organization's accounts receivable process by representing claims for payment to the appropriate payer. Billing Specialist will also perform medical collections and invoicing to patients, providers and medical facilities.Minimum Requirements:High School Diploma or GED requiredOne to two years reimbursement, insurance or related work experience in healthcare setting preferredKnowledge of electronic billing and submission processComplies with all relevant professional standards of practiceCurrent CPR if applicableTB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicableCurrent Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)Must meet all federal, state and local requirementsMust be at least 18 years of ageWe are seeking an experienced Billing Specialist to support a healthcare organization's revenue cycle operations. In this role, you will be responsible for processing medical insurance claims, posting payments, resolving denied claims, and ensuring timely reimbursement from third-party payers.
