We are looking for a dedicated Business Office Manager who shares our commitment to excellence and community service to lead our financial and administrative operations. The Role As the Business Office Manager, you will be the heartbeat of our facility's financial operations. You will manage the daily business office functions, ensuring accurate billing, efficient collections, and strict compliance with state and federal regulations. This role requires a sharp analytical mind, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of long-term care reimbursement. Key Responsibilities Billing & Accounts Receivable: Oversee all billing processes, including Medicare, Medicaid, private pay, and commercial insurance. Ensure timely submission and accurate processing of claims. Collections & Aging: Manage accounts receivable aging reports, actively pursuing collections and resolving outstanding or delinquent accounts. Admissions Financial Review: Partner with the admissions team to verify insurance benefits, pre-authorize coverage, and review financial eligibility for incoming residents. Resident Trust: Manage the resident trust fund accounts in strict accordance with state and federal regulations. Compliance & Audit: Maintain organized, audit-ready financial records and ensure compliance with all state, federal, and internal financial policies. Qualifications & Requirements Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of experience as a Business Office Manager or Assistant BOM specifically within a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care setting is strictly required. System Knowledge: Proven experience navigating Medicare, Medicaid (Healthy Connections), and Managed Care billing processes. Software Proficiency: Familiarity with long-term care electronic health records (EHR) and billing software (e.g., MatrixCare, PointClickCare, or similar systems) is highly preferred. Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a high level of empathy and professionalism when interacting with residents and their families.
