Sr Account Manager

Job Description ADI Global Distribution is hiring a Senior Account Manager to increase market share, uncover new opportunities, and drive sales that result in long‑term customer relationships. ADI, part of Resideo Inc., is North America’s leading wholesale distributor of security and low‑voltage products. Responsibilities Increase market share by converting potential customers into ADI customers. Strengthen current customer relationships through service support, follow‑up calls, education on new product lines, and stay current with industry developments. Proactively gather market intelligence, uncover growth opportunities, and deliver sales wins. Ensure positive relationships within the ADI organization to encourage team sales and create priority service for customers. Implement various customer training initiatives to drive sales growth in the assigned territory. Qualifications 2+ years of sales experience in CCTV, IP, AV technologies, security, and fire. Successful track record managing and selling in the security industry in a distribution model. Valid driver’s license with a clean motor‑vehicle history. Excellent selling, negotiating, and closing skills with the ability to build long‑term relationships. Ability to learn quickly, handle a high call volume, and think creatively. Strong work ethic and business‑ethical standards. Strong customer‑service, organizational, and multi‑tasking abilities. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Self‑motivated, able to work independently with a team mentality. Proficient in Salesforce, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability to travel up to 75% of the time as required by business. Preferred Experience Significant experience in a sales or account‑management field. Experience working with freight, telecom (data or cell), or distributor environments. Retail office‑supply store experience is a plus. Salesforce experience is a plus. Experience with high‑value daily spending and large product profiles. Ability to influence at varying levels across the organization. Ability to handle multiple priorities in a highly matrixed environment. Benefits Competitive compensation with uncapped commission.
