Position Overview
A growing warehouse operation in Somerset, NJ is seeking an experienced Warehouse Lead with strong air‐freight knowledge, including PMC build‐up. This role supports daily warehouse activities, ensures freight is handled accurately and safely, and communicates with internal teams, clients, and outside vendors. The daytime shift is ideal for candidates with established experience in air‐freight operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support daily warehouse operations
- Perform and oversee air‐freight handling, including PMC build‐up
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- Communicate professionally with clients and external vendors via email and phone
- Support inbound and outbound freight processes, documentation, and workflow
- Utilize WMS and other operational systems
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant warehouse environment
- Assist with training and supporting warehouse staff as needed
Required Skills & Experience
- Forklift experience (certification preferred)
- Knowledge of air‐freight processes and PMC build‐up
- Strong communication skills, including email communication
- Warehouse operations experience, including WMS
- Bilingual preferred
- Ability to work independently and lead by example
