Material & Logistics Coordinator (AERO)

The Material and Logistics Coordinator will oversee the flow of materials and supplies within the organization to ensure operational demands are met. This role involves management of materials, and oversight of storage and distribution, including loading and unloading of materials from trucks. This 1st shift position is at our Aerospace, Defense & Prototype facility in Sterling Heights, Michigan. Primary Responsibilities: * Receive and inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for quality and accuracy, verifying contents against order documentation. * Maintain precise records by conducting regular audits and reconciling any discrepancies. * Optimize the layout and organization of storage areas to ensure efficient access and handling of materials. * Prepare and process all necessary shipping and receiving documentation. * Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of material handling procedures. * Packing and counting parts. * Spraying foams for outsource shipments. * Loading and unloading of trucks, manually and/ or with equipment. * Cleaning/ washing parts and/ or materials. * Inventory checks. * All other duties as assigned. Position Requirements: * Forklift/ Hilo experience required * High school diploma or equivalent, in addition to 1-2 years of experience * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and to be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation, without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of the individual or others. * Self starter with great organizational skills * Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications * Ability to walk, stand, and lift heavy objects for an extended period of time * Ability to serve, prioritize, and multi-task to support multiple areas * Excellent communication skills with both internal and external personnel Who We Are: ArtiFlex Manufacturing designs and builds products and solutions for companies with tough challenges by employing people with a willingness and ability to be "Innovative.
