Summer Education Math Academy Coordinator 25-26 SY - In-Person JobID: 5626 Position Type: Summer Employment/ Desert Vista Summer Academy (DVSA) Date Posted: 1/23/2026 Location: Desert Vista High School Date Available: 03/01/2026 Certified Title: Summer Education Math Academy Coordinator 25-26 SY Reports to: Summer Education Academy Principal Supervises: Summer Education Academy Students and Staff Dates: Session 1: June 1, 2026 - June 12, 2026 Session 2: June 15, 2025 - June 26, 2026 Rate: $2,100 per session Position Summary Develop and schedule daily activities Register students prior to beginning of program Review applicants, interview, perform background checks and make recommendations to hire for Summer Math Academy Instructors and Support Staff Provide direct supervision to Summer Math Academy Instructors and Support Staff Review lesson plans and make recommendations as needed Ensure staff members complete and submit timecards for hours worked Facilitate planning meetings with Instructors and Support Staff Conduct inventory, requisition and order materials and supplies Communicate with parents as needed Address student discipline issues Work in cooperation with Principal and other district staff to ensure smooth operation of program Ensure compliance with District facility management and safety requirements An individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation, as defined in the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
