Desktop Support Technician

Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas-based IT consulting firm, is currently seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join our team in Las Vegas, NV for contract opportunity.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Deliver, replace, and upgrade Team Members asset(s) including Windows 11 endpoints and iOS devices.
• Coordinating with project leads and leadership to complete Team Members new device provisioning both in person and remotely.
• Manage Team Members in signing into all endpoints and iOS devices and completing device enrollment processes.
• Ensure Team Member can connect to WiFi.
• Configure Azure MFA during enrollment process.
• Ensure Team Members are signed into single sign on (SSO) applications.
• Confirm M365 suite of product usage on endpoints and iOS devices.
• Set up MS Outlook signature(s) on endpoints and iOS devices.
• Ensure iOS device contacts, photos, and files are backed up via OneDrive on old iOS device and synced to new iOS device.
• Applications should be installed automatically but it will be the responsibility of the Desktop Technician to ensure that all the applications, configuration settings, and peripherals that the team member needs are installed and working properly.
• Should any issues arise, the Desktop Technician will be required to stop and provide feedback to the project manager / leadership so that appropriate remediations can be applied.
• In addition, PC technicians will be responsible for the removal, tagging, documenting, and processing of endpoints and iOS devices that are collected from the Team Members.
• These duties will be performed on-site.
• Shifts will be Monday through Friday from 9am - 5pm. No overtime.
• Technicians will fill out weekly timecards and be approved via email by Executive Direction - Corporate IT
