About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President, Business Architect to play a pivotal role in a large-scale finance transformation project. The successful candidate will be instrumental in modernizing finance operating models, accounting processes, and enterprise data flows. This senior position demands a professional who can seamlessly integrate with finance, operations, and technology stakeholders to evaluate current capabilities, design future business architecture, and ensure the successful adoption of new finance platforms and operating models. The role requires a deep understanding of finance transformation, business architecture, and process optimization, with a focus on aligning across various financial domains. Key responsibilities for the Vice President, Business Architect include analyzing and documenting existing finance processes, designing future-state business capabilities, and developing business process maps and functional requirements. The ideal candidate will have a background in finance transformation, particularly within banking, financial services, or other highly regulated environments. Strong skills in business and process architecture, as well as experience with financial data flows, general ledger concepts, and enterprise reporting, are essential. The role also involves supporting transformation efforts related to general ledger, financial close, reconciliations, and enterprise reporting, and requires excellent communication, stakeholder management, and the ability to bridge the gap between business and technology. Experience with ERP, finance platforms, and related transformation initiatives is preferred.
