Description of Responsibilities

• Ensure patient comfort and promote safety throughout procedures, clearly explaining each phase with patience and empathy
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to produce top-notch diagnostic images
• Sustain and operate imaging equipment meticulously, promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Maintain precise documentation of procedures and patient records within the electronic healthcare system
• Stay abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Preferred: Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Valid certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent credential
• BLS certification preferred
