With over 5,000 employees and a presence in every county across the state, Texas A&M AgriLife is uniquely positioned to improve lives, environments and the Texas economy through education, research, extension and service.Click **here** to learn more about how ***you*** can be a part of AgriLife and make a difference in the world!**Position Information**The Geospatial Analyst will conduct research on remote sensing and machine learning to develop models that produce spatial data products required for large-scale agricultural systems modeling.**Responsibilities:*** Develop and improve machine learning models for estimating crop biophysical* properties using satellite remote sensing datasets.* Implement spatial and remote sensing data processing algorithms to produce datasets* to integrate and/or assimilate into crop models.* Assist with literature review, reports, and publishing research findings in peer-reviewed journals.* Performs other duties as assigned.**Required Qualifications:*** Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Environmental Science/Engineering, or related field. Four years of related experience.* Or, Master's degree in Data Science, Environmental Science/Engineering, or related field.
