Work Environment\n

This role will be primarily performed in a remote outpatient office setting located in Yonkers, New York. Our team-driven environment emphasizes collaboration and support, encouraging our mental health professionals to engage actively both with clients and other members of the care team. You will work Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the possibility of adjusting your schedule to meet patient needs intermittently.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate and understand each patient’s trauma history comprehensively.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and the building of resilience.

• Deliver a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, empowering patients to process trauma, learn new coping strategies, and support their healing journey.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, offering the necessary support to stabilize clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a recognized institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in New York State.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the mental health field, emphasizing trauma treatment.
