Accounting Manager

We are looking for an Accounting Manager to support financial operations for a Contract position based in Manchester, New Hampshire. This role will oversee core accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, and help ensure timely reporting in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate brings strong experience with month-end processes, reconciliations, and audit support, along with the ability to work effectively within Sage X3.Responsibilities:• Lead the month-end close process by coordinating deadlines, reviewing financial activity, and ensuring accurate completion of all required entries.• Manage the general ledger by monitoring account activity, maintaining accuracy across balances, and resolving discrepancies promptly.• Prepare and review journal entries to support routine accounting operations and accurate financial reporting.• Perform detailed account reconciliations and investigate variances to maintain integrity across financial records.• Support financial statement audit activities by organizing documentation, responding to auditor requests, and helping address follow-up items.• Produce inventory-related reporting and partner with operations teams to improve visibility into manufacturing and stock activity.• Use Sage X3 to maintain accounting data, generate reports, and support day-to-day financial management tasks.
