Sous Chef

A beautiful country pub which has a great reputation is recruiting for a Sous Chef to work alongside the Chef Patron. The pub offers diners a fantastic menu which is freshly prepared, using high quality locally sourced ingredients. As Sous chef you will have a strong input on the seasonal menus consisting of good honest pub food made from scratch. The pub serves food both lunchtime and dinner with a separate Sunday lunch and kids menu. In this Sous Chef role you will be working within a small team of up to 4 chefs and will take responsibility in the absence of the Head Chef. Requirements: A Sous Chef who has been working in a similar fresh food pub or restaurant where you gained all round cooking skills is needed for this role. It is important that you can work well in a small team of chefs, bringing strong cooking abilities but also the creativity needed to design new dishes and leadership skills necessary for running service.
